Support for your recovery
For many women, years of inflammation don't simply disappear once the implants are out. A structured, doctor-led plan can help your body recover.
When recovery calls for added support
Most women feel better after their explant, some within weeks. Taking the implants out removes what has been triggering your body, but it doesn't erase the inflammation that has built up over the years.
For some women, that's where a little extra support helps. We partner with RMI Health, a doctor-led clinic in Costa Rica, on a recovery plan built around careful evaluation and a path tailored to you.

Treatment at RMI Health, Costa Rica
What the stem cells actually do
The treatment is an infusion of healing cells sourced from donated umbilical cord tissue. It's not surgery or a transplant, and it doesn't replace any tissue. Once they're in your bloodstream, these cells send out signals that calm inflammation, help balance your immune system, and switch on your body's own ability to repair itself.
In short, they help create the right conditions for healing, supporting your body's own recovery instead of taking over for it.
That matters after an explant because of what Breast Implant Illness (BII) often leaves behind: an immune system that has been on high alert for years. The goal is to help it settle, so your body can calm down and heal.

What's inside your protocol
At RMI, everything starts with a proper check-up, not a treatment picked in advance. These are the therapies and interventions that make up the plan, combined across three packages. Which ones are right for you, and in what order, comes down to your evaluation, always at your doctor's discretion.
Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE)
Filters your blood to remove the part (plasma) that can carry inflammatory proteins and antibodies, and replaces it with clean fluid. After surgery, it may help clear what's fueling inflammation and calm an overactive immune system.
Vitamin C Megadose Infusion
A dose of vitamin C given straight into your bloodstream, far more than food or pills can reach. Vitamin C helps your body build collagen and repair tissue, so after surgery it may support healing and ease the strain on your body.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
You breathe pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, so far more oxygen reaches your tissues than usual. It may help wounds heal faster, reduce swelling, and calm inflammation as your body repairs.
Preoperative Medical Evaluation
A full check of your health, symptoms, and lab work before surgery, including any autoimmune or inflammatory conditions. It helps your team spot any risks and shape the surgery and recovery plan around you.
Near-Infrared Laser Light Therapy
Gentle light that reaches below the skin without any heat. It's thought to boost cell activity, improve blood flow, and reduce inflammation, which may ease pain and swelling after surgery.
UC-PASC Intravenous Infusion
An IV infusion of stem cells from umbilical cord tissue (UC-PASCs), known for calming the immune system and supporting repair. They're not a transplant. They help guide your body's own healing after your implants are removed.

Supportive care, medically supervised
Every therapy is done under medical supervision and licensed by Costa Rica’s Ministry of Health. Whether it’s right for you is decided only after a full review with the team, which includes your medical history and some tests.
Results are different for everyone, and no one can promise a specific outcome. What this plan offers is support for your body’s own recovery, and that recovery also depends on the things no treatment can replace: rest, good food, movement, and your overall health.

Not every woman needs regenerative support, and not everyone is a candidate. A short eligibility review with the medical team is the place to begin.
