Virtual consultation
Virtual consultation with Dr. Urzola. During this consultation:
- Your case will be reviewed in detail.
- Expectations and the surgical plan will be explained.
- All medical questions will be answered.
Cost of the virtual consultation: ₡70,000 CRC / $150 USD.
Surgery scheduling and travel coordination
- A surgery date will be reserved.
- Deposit instructions will be provided.
- You will receive pre-operative instructions and travel recommendations.
- Our team will assist you throughout the entire process to ensure a smooth and safe experience in Costa Rica.
Your stay in Costa Rica
International patients are typically in Costa Rica for 7 to 10 days. Each stage is coordinated by the medical team.
- ArrivalPre-operative review with Dr. Urzola.
- SurgeryThe explant is performed by Dr. Urzola. Recovery is monitored on site.
- Early recoveryMonitored rest, with the medical team available throughout.
- Follow-upPost-operative review with Dr. Urzola, followed by clearance to travel.
- ReturnDeparture with written recovery instructions and continued follow-up.
Patients may travel with a companion. The length of stay is confirmed during the virtual consultation.
